Craters MTB Park - Wairakei Forrest

just north of Taupo, near Huka Falls and Craters of the Moon

Wairakei Tourist park is a shared forest park. The MTB zones are clearly marked in green on our Wairakei maps.

From December 2009 the Crown will be actively checking for any biking activity outside the permitted zones and where appropriate will take enforcement and legal action against repeat offenders.
