Taupo man Tim Wilding (riding in the Senior Division) was the fastest person on the course.  He rode the 40 km Enduro course (of course!), in a time of 1hr 54 min 15 sec.

Second fastest person on the course over 40 km was Taupo man Matt Dewes, 3 min 15 sec behind Tim.  Matt was also riding in the Senior Division, and was so fast that we couldn't even get a picture.
 

Third fastest person on the course over 40 km was Taupo man Carwyn May, who finished in 1 hr 58 min 02 sec.  Also riding in Senior Division.

What a great 1, 2, 3 for Taupo!  Well done!

Robyn Wong rode the 40 km course in 2 hr 11 min 43 sec, taking out first place in the Senior Women Division.  Thanks for taking part Robyn, great that you enjoyed the Warakei Forest tracks (don't the Bike Taupo track builders do an awesome job).

Sarah Beadle of Rotorua rode the 40 km course, and won the Veteran Women Division in 2 hr 44 min 18 sec.  And she could still smile!
