The Life Cycles Teams Race takes place in Wairakei Forest on Sunday 30th July 2006.  Based at the MTB car park on Powerline Rd, the venue will be signed from SH1 opposite Helistar.

Team size can be up to 4 people, and individualshref=" There are lots of entry categories, from Family and Schools up to open grade.  See details on entry form (Download PDF here).  Everyone is welcome.  The entry fee is $15, or $10 for those 12 years and under and for Taupo MTB Club members.

Registration is open from 9.00 am till 9.45 am, and racing starts at 10.00 am.

This is a relay event with 3.5 hours to cutoff.  Your team rides relay fashion for 3.5 hours.  At that point you cannot start another lap, but you finish the lap that you are on.  Every completed lap counts, and along with your finish order after cutoff, determines your placing.  (Note, it is important to finish after cutoff to get an accurate placing.)

The course will consist of the lower portion of Corkscrew via Squirt, and Tourist Trap (with a side excursion around Inward Goods).  You will pass through the car park twice per lap, so this course is very spectator friendly, and family friendly as young riders have the option of doing a half lap before "passing the baton over".

We have some great spot prizes, thanks to the event sponsor Life Cycles.  See you there!
