The Taupo Gullies Treasure Hunt - Alternative Cycling Routes in Taupo takes place on Saturday, 14 October between 10:00am and 12:00pm at the Waipahihi Sports Ground

This community event is brought to you in partnership by Bike Taupo,  Taupo District Council, Sport Waikato,  Bike Wise and other local partners.
The cycling treasure hunt will showcase and promote the various gullies that have been developed for cycling and walking by Bike Taupo, the Taupo Rotary Club and the Taupo District Council.

This fun event is for people of all ages and abilities with the aim of promoting cycling as a fun, safe, cheap, viable form of transport for short trips such as to and from school, work, local shops etc.  Entertainment will be provided as well as an obstacle course to test your cycling skills and knowledge!
