Hi All,
Lots of small improvements been
happening around the place.
We received a grant from Oxfam for improvements on
the Tunnel track and have tried to widen the two bad blind corners.
Still take it
easy through that track please and remember its two way and gets a lot
of
traffic last few days we did a small change on the end of the track
near the Hub Caf it was to get people away from the building site plus
as a lot of the trees
had been felled we wanted the track to be under the trees and it now
aligns
better with the road
Pete Mac has done a lot of work in
the last month keeping the tracks open and spraying the grass hope you are
enjoying the riding.
We had problems again with one
horses leading others over the horse stops on the slalom track the tin seems to
be working a treat but be careful in the rain going down the crossing
Been told that the Lazy Sunday track
bit a biker in a big way, remember its a grade 5 track and it pays to check
those types of tracks out before taking on the jumps both Lazy Sunday and Coles
Killer have chicken chutes if things are turning to custard
The Bungy track in town is working well
with a lot of people now doing a loop back via the redwoods
Other tracks are in the planning for
Wairakei.
The big news is we now have the consent for W2K and are about to start in the
next few weeks. Watch the web site for more news and updates on progress on this.
Cheers
Pete. M
