Opening of the Whakaipo Bay to Kinloch Track (W2K) on

Saturday 26th April 2008, 10 am - at Whakaipo Bay

The track will be officially opened by the Minister of Conservation, Steve Chadwick.

For those of you that will take this opportunity to bike or walk the 14 km to Kinloch there will be a sausage sizzle provided by More FM and Harvey

Walkers can expect to take 3 to 4 hours and bikers 1 hr 45 min. Please note, there is no water on the track.

If you wish to park on the village green at Kinloch and be shuttled to Whakaipo Bay, buses will be available, $10 fare.
