Whakaipo Bay Tree Planting Sunday 10 August 10.30am
Bring a spade and help plant another 600 native trees at Whakaipo Bay. As well as adding to the June gully plantings we'll be planting several mature trees along the foreshore road and getting a team together to help 'release' plants along the foreshore - ie weeding! Join us for a hot drink and sausage at the Girl Guide camp at the conclusion of the event.
Last month's effort saw 2,600 trees planted in less than an hour, it was a great event and we're looking forward to this one, albeit on a smaller scale.
Regards,
