Track Crew News - May 2009
W2K
We have now put W2K to bed and any future work is now maintenance, as
we are not on the track so much can people let us know, if any trees are
down or any slips happened.
We have trouble getting around all the tracks nowadays (we are not to old - just too many tracks !) and it saves us a lot of
time if we know what gear we need.

We are working on the new Outback track at the moment which is going to
have two new bridges over Slalom and go up and around the big rock in
the Young Pines. Plus Pete Manning has just about completed building the
new single track along the top road, all of these changes have made a
big difference to the Outback track as it now much more interesting to
ride and its longer as well.
The bridge has been ripped out of the Drone as part of the new alignments so be carefully on a night ride.
The Contact boys are still working away on the new track going from
Bumble Bee to Outwards Goods and further its getting closer by the day
and when finished is going to be about 3 kms long so watch the web site
for more details.
Down hillers are ripping down The Buddha plus have got together and open up Coles Killer again which is great to see.
The logging crew have just about finished in the old Switch Back area.
The hill has been logged and they are clearing it for planting at the
moment.
Thats the next track to be build as soon as the logging is
finished.
