Track Crew News - June 2010

Big thanks to the people who turned out to Marshal on the Moon Ride and to Murray Fleming for the support he gives to Bike Taupo.

Working bee on Debs track went great, the uphill is now open to the Mr. & Mrs. mid point with now only about 100 meters to build along the top so the track can enter at the Buzzard.

The Huka Lodge up hill is now much friendlier to ride thanks to the Contact Crew who ripped into it one Tuesday. This is all part of the Rotary Ride Upgrade, which we hope to keep chipping away at for the next two years.

And last on the list you can now ride all the way to Kawakawa Bay and back we have joined up the tracks below the old steps leading down to the bay.

We have just got to finish the track down to the lake and will then be pulling out and fixing the odd bit we are not happy with.
Most of the funding has come from Doc to up grade the track so a big thanks to them for looking at the future
