This is a non-competitive (yeah right - on ya’ right) fun course, geared at kids, families, and first time event goers. The tracks are graded easy (G2) and intermediate (G3) and are as follows: Start at the Q-Line Rd / Powerline Rd junction, head up Powerline RD, through MTB car park > Squirt > back through MTB car park > Tourist Trap > Ferret > Tourist Trap (tail end) > and back to MTB car park to finish.
23 km Craters Challenge (Loop 1)
Start at the Q-Line Rd / Powerline Rd junction, head up Powerline RD, through MTB car park > Squirt > Lake Hire Link 1 > Part of Tankstand > Grinder > Deb’s Track > Mr. & Mrs. > Better Than P > Incline > Coaster (Craters Classic riders peel off here) > Lake Hire Link 2 > through MTB car park > Tourist Trap > Ferret > Tourist Trap (tail end) > and back to MTB car park to finish.
40 km Craters Classic (Loop 2)
Having done Loop 1 above, and peeled off at the end of Coaster, then continue as follows: Part of Tankstand (again) > Grinder (again) > Buzzard > Missing Link > Tankstand (tail end) > Outback (to Retro) > Retro > Luge > Slalom > Walter’s Wiggles > Lake Hire Link 2 > Part of Squirt (again) > Corkscrew > Buddha ( yes BUDDHA !!! ) tourist trap > ferret > last part of tourist trap > and back to MTB car park to finish.
