We had a great turnout today fixing up a lot of the storm damage. Lot's of people turned up, dusting off their chainsaws and got stuck into it. There were over 30 trees across several popular tracks - check out the photos and additional info on BikeTaupo.org.nz or the FaceBook Page.

If you are keen to volunteer some time over the next few weeks, please read the following important info:

1. Do not cut any trees anywhere, but especially on the Corkscrew and Squirt areas, because those are to be recovered by the forest mangers !
   
2. Contact the Bike Taupo Track Crew by email or Phone: Pete M. (027 497 7832 ) or Pete McF. (027 248 6427) before heading in and doing any track maintenance
   
3. Tracks definitely closed are: Rotary, Corkscrew, Squirt,
4. All other tracks are open, but you might come across some problems areas, if you do, email us.
