King & Queen of the Crank
For the 2nd Year the Title goes to:
The Mtb Club !
Under Clearing skies 65 Riders (56 Individuals) Lined up at the Hub Cafe for the 2nd annual 'King & Queen of the Crank'. Starting with the completely revised and simplified MTB section which caught some unsuspecting riders out thanks to heavy rain the night before. From there riders were back into transition and onto 3 laps of the famed huka loop which has recently become available for use in events thanks to the ETA. Well done to all those who participated especially our new King, Matt Moon and Queen Katey Coubrough.
Of course behind this was bragging rights for the year. Who would take it out on this much 'fairer' course ?
In the end the Roadies came home with 545 Points and the Mtbers retained the title amassing 695 points
