Tracks are still in good order just the odd blackberry face cleaner from all the growth we have had.  Good trick is ride at the end of a line, others then they take all the thorns off before you.  SH Fun is getting a bit soft with the dry weather and the races but still a great ride. With all the rain we have been getting the riding in Taupo is the best we have had for years

We are putting in a new alignment for Tourist Trap which will take you around the first hill and also give some more space to the Punga Trails jumps area We will be putting in a new entry to the Punga Trails as soon as its finished. Junk and Disorderly is bedding in and turning into a great  single track to get to the Hub cafe from the end of Kev's track.

The Great Lake Trail is up to the 6.2 km and is out of the wetland and will start to traverse around the steep hills and go towards KawaKawa Bay. Doc have put in a new bridge at Broken chain Gully  and upgrading two others on Kawakawa Bay track. Everybody seems to be enjoying the track and also the bird life down the wet land.

Thumb's up to the fairy who put up the xmas decations on the top of Outback That's  what mountain Biking is about

For those from out of town good trail etiquette is to call out the number of riders in your group when you meet up with riders going the other way

Aratiatia- SH1 bridge -Ferguson's or Te totara Gully loop

Question  Is it the riding and the trail, or the environment we ride in..???  Would Walters or the Coster be as good with out the big trees around us ????
